Embroidered Skirts

It's starting to feel like Summer in Minnesota.  One of things that I love about living in Minneapolis is enjoying each of the four seasons.  When summer starts rolling around, you see the city come alive with people again.  The streets flood with people, eager to enjoy the beautiful weather.

I love wearing skirts when it starts to become warmer, especially if they have beautiful details like embroidery. I've been seeing embroidery on tops, jackets, jeans, and skirts.  I love the bright colors, and it's beautiful on skirts especially.  This is a skirt that I got from Zara, which I've been loving as well. I bought this skirt for $49.90.  Zara's spring line is beautiful, and it has many embroidery pieces if you're also loving this trend.

Because the embroidery on this skirt is full of bright colors, I wanted to add a subtle top that would frame the skirt.  I chose a simple, white t-shirt.  If you're looking for a larger fitting crew-neck t-shirt, I love this one. It's actually from Target, and it's from the men's section. It's a size medium, and Hanes brand.  For shoes, I paired bright, orange mules from Aldo to finish the look off.  The shoes really make the skirt pop.
